One of the largest banks of Pakistan is inviting applications for the following position from professionals with a proven track record and capacity to perform as a catalyst for transformation in a challenging environment in the area of Technology & Digitization.POSITION:
DIVISIONAL HEAD - DIGITAL BANKING
(Directly Reporting to the Group Chief — Technology & Digitization)ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Academic / Professional Qualification:
- Minimum 4 years Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Preference will be given to candidates having an MBA or equivalent Post-Graduate Degree.
Experience :
- Minimum 10 years' experience across digital banking. digital product management. or consumer-facing mobile products, payments, retail banking, commercial banking, or channel management in Banks or Financial institutions, FinTech.
- Minimum 5 years' Financial Services Technology experience.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- To articulate the digital agenda and integrate into the business operating model from the perspective of sales revenue, cost savings, and customer experiences.
- To develop and secure agreement for the digital vision and strategy for consumers that take into account business needs to meet target segments, user needs, and emerging capability.
- To work closely with the senior leadership team in the development and delivery of the digital vision and related wider corporate strategy and business objectives.
- To define the digital banking strategy for the Bank and refine the annual roadmap.
- To maintain an understanding of external competitive digital developments and their impact on our business and retail digital strategy
- To formulate and implement a transaction migration strategy to ensure optimal utilization of digital platforms.
- To drive strategic alliances and business partnerships for customer acquisitions and cross-selling.
- To lead innovation projects and establish strategic partnerships
- To deliver superior service quality and the best digital experience for customers across all digital and self-service channels via continuous improvement and innovation
- To promote and adopt digital and self-service channels through a significant increase of digital channels penetration, conversion, and usage.
- To build relationships with senior stakeholders across the business groups, operations, industry partners and vendors to identify key levers to deliver digital change.
- To set objectives for the Division and ensure achievement of the same and assist Head of T&DG on related issues.
- To implement and champion a robust professional development program. and continuously up-skill team members to keep them current.
- To continually augments the team's experiences and skills with the latest training. tools, technologies, and techniques.
- To ensure that all targets are on time and within budget executing within Bank procedures.
Only shortlisted applicants strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interviews.
The employment will be on a contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per the Bank's Policy/rules.
